Formed in 2004, Black Cherry is a high-energy Ottawa-based band with a passion for entertaining.

The band has just released their second CD,
"What's the Deal". It was recorded at Liverpool Court
Studios, in Ottawa, and released officially on March 20th 2009 at Ben Franklin Place, in Nepean, ON. The eight song CD features blues and classic rock and was produced by drummer, Rob Letourneau.

Over the five years that Black Cherry has been on the scene, they have had the privilege to have opened for bands such as The Jeff Healey Band and The Five Man Electrical Band. The band has also entertained at many fairs, festivals and night clubs in the Ottawa Valley.

In December 2006 and again in 2007, the band played on the Gloucester Fair float in the Orleans Parade of Lights in front of approximately 125,000 appreciative people. The group also had the good fortune of winning the "Best Band Award" in the parade as well.
